With Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I greatly preferred the Wii U version to the 3DS version. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has a surprising amount of depth to keep players busy for a long time, from the sheer size of the world to the exploration mode that instantly creates randomized battles. Launching on Nintendo 3DS™, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate represents the biggest leap forward ever for the series with more new content and exciting features than ever before. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the perfect fit for portable play, allowing you to devour piled-platter entrees or saucer-sized appetizers. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate doesn’t offer much new beyond its predecessors, but it perfects so much of what they tried that it's undoubtedly the series' best, and among the best games on 3DS. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate offers over a dozen different weapon types to play around with, none of which follow the conventional make-up. There’s nothing else like it on the system. There's even a wide assortment of fighters, monsters, weapons, and items to fight for, which is great for players who like collecting everything.
