A person on Reddit asked an EA community manager on when we should expect to see Skate 3 become Xbox One backwards compatible. EA on the other hand still has no clue when it will actually be playable from the looks of things. We've seen Skate 3 regain so much popularity as of recently that EA actually took action to reprint more discs of the game for retail release due to high demand (I think because of YouTubers like PewDiePie making the game popular again and, as a result, making more people want to buy it years after release).

For Skate 3 on the Xbox 360, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "DO NOT buy the digital version". If you have already gone through this and are still experiencing problems then I would also try to go through the Marketplace Online to see if this changes anything. In this video I discuss the fact that Microsoft needs to fix the Xbox One store to allow the purchase of 360 games with Account Balance Funds. I had no trouble redeeming it, however when i go to the store, via the computer, I find Skate 3 and it doesn't give me the option to use the credit on my account. It vaguely reminds me of a 2-D Skate 3,except for the fact that unlike Skate, this isnt fun!
