I was sure I had lost the Bebop 2 review unit Parrot had sent Engadget. I've had my drone since may and the battery it came with is now dead. battery ended up dying and my drone crashed into a fence... also I was with blackopslover20 in this video. It's a shame the battery life is so short. Top. If this is the case, you may also see abrupt changes in altitude when hovering, rotating by itself, etc. It just kept going until it was barely a speck in the sky. This will drain the battery very fast since 1 or 2 of the motors may be working 20%-30% overtime trying to maintain equal rpm with the rest. I purchased two aftermarket 1300 mAh batteries in may also and both of them are fine. DJI's newest and smallest drone, the Spark, isn't the most feature-packed, but it's plenty smart. Otherwise, you may as well upgrade the batteries if you enjoy flying! I would say I use the aftermarket batteries more than the original battery. With that said, maybe the parrot battery isn't getting discharged often enough.
