I have done this from single player to single player and from single player to private dedicated server (both ways). Is there an actual way to get this to work? I tried this over and over using online tutorials and it just refuses to work. So Ive recently started a new single-player game on Ragnarok and am just about done with building the first base.
On servers you can do this at beacons too, but on singleplayer, this only works at obelisks and the tek transmitter. How do you transfer your character to another Singleplayer map? To test this out Ive tried it with Valguero and I could download my tame and my survivor without any hassle. Start a new game with a new map. Now that Genesis is out I wanted to transfer my survivor, a tame and some items over to another map. Just drag each item into the transfer window and they automagically show up in the transfer window in the other game.
At any of the three obelisks, inbetween your inventory and the obelisk's inventory, there should be a button to upload your character.
